Previous posting from Ms. Belcher concerned a planned school board training session.
It is not a sudden meeting for training in response to a personnel issue as I previously speculated.
By way of information, school board members have a need to stay apart from personnel issues because such issues could come before the board and require the board to act in a quasi-judicial manner which requires us to be impartial. The trouble, though, is that some think “impartial” means completely ignorant. Knowledge is not prejudicial. What is prejudicial is the expression of an opinion about such knowledge before a full presentation of all the facts by all involved parties is made.
