Watch Yourself Getting Sold Out

Here’s last night’s SAU meeting.  The budget discussion starts at 13 minutes into the meeting.

As for Mr. Cipriano’s claims that the state and/or Federal laws require us to have comp time, that is not true.  I checked RSA 275:43 and also 29 of US Code 207, which he referenced. These laws apply only when comp time is provided.

The next morning radio host Rich Girard graciously invited me to blow off steam about this meeting.  You can hear the interview here:  Girard Talks to Green about SAU budget

    As usual Donna, You are correct and Mr. Cipriano is not. Given his propensity for being incorrect I almost have to wonder if it is intentional. No Federal or State law “REQUIRES” Compensatory time to be implemented.

    RSA275:43, VII, simply states;

    “VII. This section shall not be construed to preclude the use of compensatory time off as compensation. ”

    This means that IF it is implemented it will not violate this section. Federal law states much the same. Comp. time is most often implemented pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement.

    As usual the Board, and it’s nefarious leaders are lying to the people.

    Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
