Green Keeps Seat

Thank you Sandown for your confidence and your understanding of the challenges. We defeated a vicious social media campaign. I could not have been re-elected if the voters had believed that the acrimony on the school board was really to my blame.

Issues are at the heart of the dissension, not personalities, and I will continue driving home the message that quality education can be obtained with better fiscal effectiveness. Thanks and enduring gratitude to my many friends and supporters who worked hard to make this happen. (I’ll be picking up signs tomorrow.)

Congratulations, Tony Piemonte, for your hard work in getting the withdrawal study passed. I hope to be included on the committee to conduct the study.

Congratulations also to Shawn Freligh for his work in putting two warrant articles on the ballot in an attempt to keep Sandown Central open Both articles passed by wide margins in Sandown but were ultimately defeated district-wide.
